Julia here! Each week, I round up the things catching my eye—pieces I’m adding to my wardrobe, new beauty finds, what I’m sipping on, and everything else that feels worth sharing. This week’s lineup includes a fun spring dress with the prettiest details, a new skincare favorite, a vintage bag find, and my go-to trick for snagging a tough reservation in Charleston. Let’s get into it…
1. A Quick Breakfast Fix
I picked up this gluten-free pancake mix recently, and it’s been an easy solution for school mornings. It’s made with buckwheat and has little chocolate chips in it, which makes it a hit with the girls. We batch a bunch on Mondays, then warm them up in the mornings for a quick breakfast before school. Find it here.
2. A Spring Dress With The Prettiest Details
I love when a simple silhouette has an unexpected detail, and this dress does just that. The floral cutouts make it feel fresh and playful, but the overall design is still classic. Perfect for spring days ahead. See it here.
3. My Newest Beauty Obsession
I’ve been testing a few new skincare brands lately, and this YSE Skin Glow is my newest favorite. It gives that fresh, just-woke-up-like-this glow without shimmer or heaviness—just smooth, radiant skin. It’s quickly becoming a must in my routine. Try it here.
4. My Nighttime Ritual Lately
I love sipping Sakara’s Metabolism powder mixed with warm milk at night—it tastes like dark chocolate and keeps my sweet tooth in check. It also helps with digestion, which makes it a nice addition to my wind-down routine. You can use JULIABSAKARA for 20% off. Find it here.
5. Recreating That Vacation Hair
I always love how my hair air-dries after a beach trip, so I picked up this sea mist texture spray to try to recreate it at home. My hairstylist Kelli recommended it, and I love that it adds just enough waves and movement without making my hair feel sticky or crunchy. Shop it here.
6. A Special Vintage Find
I just bought this pre-worn rainbow Delvaux bag on Vestiaire, one of my favorite sites for preloved designer pieces. The color, the shape—everything about it feels unique. If you love it too, I found the exact same one in great condition here and here.
7. A Favorite Jewelry Brand, Now at Bloomingdale’s
FOPE has always been one of my favorite jewelry brands—it’s understated but luxurious, and their pieces layer beautifully. I especially love this necklace, which feels timeless but still modern. See it here.
8. A Beautiful Collaboration
I stopped by the Over The Moon store in Charleston this week to check out their newest collection with CaraCara—it’s stunning and perfect for spring. I wore this dress, but honestly, the entire collection is worth a look. See more here.
9. A Restaurant Worth the Wait
Vern’s is easily one of my top three restaurants in Charleston—when I can get a table! The best trick I’ve found is setting alerts for reservations because last-minute spots do pop up. That’s how we managed to get in this week, and it was as good as ever.
10. The One Show I Stayed Up For
I rarely stay up past 9 p.m., but I am making an exception for White Lotus every Sunday now. Every character is somehow more terrible than the last, and I love it. The tension, the drama—it’s so good. We’ve loved the past seasons, and I can’t wait for this newest one to unfold.
